About Us

The Little Big Tree Company was established twenty years ago on a small property in Christchurch. In 2005 we undertook the massive task of relocating to bigger and better premises at 135 Claridges Road, which increased our quality of tree and service to the market.

The aim of the company is to grow and supply the best quality evergreen and deciduous specimen trees and shrubs, to an increasing number of clients including landscapers, developers and the public.

Our most advanced trees are in a 160 litre bag, some species measuring up to six metres. These trees are excellent for maximum impact. They make ideal street trees, car park trees, shade, screen and shelter trees. These trees make any landscape or townscape look established.

In the last eight years we have put a lot of effort into producing large numbers of varieties in a 45 litre grade. These trees are still an advanced tree, which are in the 2.5 – 3.5 metre height range. These trees are an excellent choice for anyone on a budget who still wants the established effect.

Our smallest grade of tree is the PB40 grade. These trees are a fantastic option for the budget conscious. All these trees are 1.5  – 2.5 metres. They are a great option for the home gardener, they are easy to transport and plant and still give great visual pleasure.  

The Little Big Tree Company's qualified staff also offer Garden Consultations, a full planting service which includes professional staking or guying, a plant placing service and plant delivery if required (see Our Services on our website to find out more informaton)

Whatever your requirements we have the quality, quantities and varieties as well as the backup services to maximise your investment.  Any trees we don't have in stock we will endeavour to source from throughout New Zealand.

The price of trees is not included in this catalogue as grades, sizes and availability are subject to change regularly. However all our prices include G.S.T. Please feel free to enquire about trade rates or quantity discount.
