(M. 'Pickards Ruby' x M. Vulcan) A smaller growing magnolia of upright compact habit, having a robust constitution making it useful in cooler climates. The blooms are firm textured of rich bright wine red, both inside and out. Neat cup shaped blooms are freely borne in mid season. A good, hardy red.4 metres
