Gardens big or little – one company has what you need

The Little Big Tree Company is a family owned and operated nursery that is now in its second generation. Chris Goom started the nursery back in 1990 because he couldn’t find any good quality trees for his own landscape designs.

Since these small beginnings growing trees in his backyard, our roots have run deep. In 2016, ownership of the Little Big Tree Company moved to the next generation, when the company was purchased by Tim, Rachel, and Sarah.
Our 2 hectares of growing grounds in Christchurch, along with additional offsite growing grounds, are dedicated to providing you with the best plants possible. Part of our grounds are dedicated to growing our larger trees, so you don’t have to wait years for your trees to grow up and make an impact! Only the best specimens are chosen to grow on – so that we can ensure a high standard of trees.
